Series

Human Threads is based on the concept of human emotions, that are never constant. As the universe transpires, human emotions, constantly in conflict with each other, come together on a face to create a story of their own. From lines that laugh away to infinity, or worry that is engraved in the grooves of one’s forehead, human emotions are complex and unmeasurable. The paintings in these series strive to capture the conflict between opposing emotions, or even the momentary changes that take human emotions from one stance to another.

Emotions are fragile as threads, yet have strength like the same to bind humans together, or even snap like a brittle being, when ties between heart and brain give away. These are human emotions; unpredictable, incorrigible, and yet interesting, and vibrant with complex feelings.

This is an attempt to bring all these emotions together, by way of paints, charcoals, and other mediums. This is an attempt to capture the complexities as emotions are raw, or even when they transition, or even when they rest in a state of trance.
